The bag-of-the-moment this season has definitely been the backpack.  A 90’s icon, the piece has been fashionistas’ go-to accessory to add style and functionality to their spring looks in the city.   All the big fashion brands have created their own interpretation of the perfect backpack for the season, and the styles developed by Phillip Lim, The Row, Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney, Nancy Gonzalez, and Elizabeth and James have been selling out not too long after they hit the shelves.  Here are some street style ideas to inspire us.  Oh, and stay tuned for the post being published soon where I will be showing the top styles of the moment, and where to find them.
